.SYNOPSIS...
Showers and thunderstorm chances should end with the passage of
a Tuesday cold front. Dry and less humid conditions are
expected through late week under high pressure.

&&

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM TUESDAY MORNING/...
A crossing shortwave and pre frontal trough should maintain
scattered showers and thunderstorms overnight. A cold front is
progged to reach NW PA to E Central OH by morning, though again
only scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected with the
unfavorable late night timing of the front. Another warm and
humid night is expected with lows around 10 degreees above
average.

&&

.SHORT TERM /6 AM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY/...
Cold front should be east of the mountains by mid afternoon.
Some re-initiation of the boundary is anticipated but at this
time, severe threat appears minimal.

Surface high pressure building under a NE CONUS upper trough
should result in dry and cooler weather Tue night through Wed
night.

&&

.LONG TERM /THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY/...
Ridging should maintain dry weather through Thu night. Periodic
shower and thunderstorm chances are expected to return as a
trough progged to advance ewd out of the Plains reaches the
Upper Midwest and OH Valley region late in the week through the
weekend. Temperatures are expected to average near seasonal
levels.

&&

.AVIATION /04Z TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...
A cold front will approach and cross during the period between
midnight and mid-morning from west to east. More concentrated
areas of showers and thunderstorms are expected, and tried to
time this in the TAFs via prevailing SHRA/TEMPO TSRA. Again, IFR
will be possible in the heavier storms. Behind the front, a
period of MVFR ceilings/mist will be possible for a few hours.
Cannot rule out IFR ceilings towards sunrise, but did not
include at this time.

Drier air works in after midmorning, with all terminals
achieving VFR once again by mid-afternoon. Wind will turn to
northwest behind the front.

OUTLOOK...
No widespread IFR weather is predicted.
